Which form does it replace?

Form G-325, when the applicant is the spouse of the sponsor.

Who needs to submit the I-130A?

Spouses of U.S. citizens or green card holders who are filing for a family-based green card. For now, applicants who have a family relationship other than spouse must continue to use form G-325.

When is the I-130A submitted?

Along with form I-130, which is filed by the sponsor on behalf of the applicant.

What are the questions asked in the I-130A?

USCIS wants detailed 5-year employment and address history of the applicant; and names and residence of the parents of the applicant.
